Clear the site so the dig can start. Vegetation, old hardstanding, fences and enabling works — taken down, loaded out and left so the groundworks gang is not working around someone else’s mess.
What we do
- 01 /Vegetation clearance: scrub, hedges and self-seeded growth, with stumps grubbed where the dig needs a clean formation.
- 02 /Breaking out and removing old concrete, tarmac and hardstanding, and loading it away.
- 03 /Taking down fences, small outbuildings and site rubbish as enabling works. We walk the site first so we are not pricing a shed and finding a workshop.
- 04 /Separating inert hardcore that can be crushed or reused from material that has to go to tip.
- 05 /Leaving the site secure at the end of the day — TODO: confirm whether you supply temporary fencing or the main contractor does.

- 02 /We do not remove asbestos. If a survey finds it, that is a licensed contractor before we break the slab.
- 03 /Structural demolition beyond small outbuildings — confirm the limit you want published.
- 04 /Who supplies heras fencing.
