How we work with contractors
- 01 /EnquirySend drawings, a scope, or ring us. A plan and a postcode is enough to tell you whether we can do it.
- 02 /Site visitWe walk the job: access, overhead lines, where the muck goes, and what the neighbours and the programme will actually allow.
- 03 /PriceA lump sum from drawings when the scope is clear, or a day rate for machine and operator when quantities will move. TODO: confirm your standard day-rate bands before anyone quotes them from this page.
- 04 /RAMSIssued before we start, for that site. Insurance certificates go with them when the contractor asks.
- 05 /ProgrammeWe agree start, sequence and what has to be ready (welfare, permits, setting out) with the site manager before the machines arrive.
- 06 /PaymentWeekly valuations on longer packages, or a monthly invoice. Shorter jobs can be invoiced on completion. TODO: confirm the terms you want in writing — for example 30 days — and whether you take applications under a subcontract.

Yes. RAMS are written for the specific job and issued before we start. If your site induction or permit system needs them in a set format, send the template with the enquiry.
Weekly valuations or a monthly invoice on longer site packages. Shorter jobs are invoiced when the work is done. TODO: confirm the payment terms you want stated (for example 30 days from application) and whether you work under your subcontract or the contractor's order.
Both. If the drawings and the quantities are clear, we price the package. If the scope will change, or you need a machine and operator on site, we work on a day rate. TODO: confirm the day-rate bands you are willing to publish, or leave rates off the website and quote them per enquiry.
Send the drawings and we will tell you whether we can look at the site and when a gang is free. TODO: confirm a typical lead time in weeks for a priced package, and a shorter lead time for operated plant, once you know what the diary can actually hold.
Leeds and the rest of Yorkshire, including Harrogate, York, Wakefield, Bradford and the surrounding towns. We will travel for the right package. TODO: confirm the furthest you want to go as standard — for example all of North and South Yorkshire — so we are not turning work away, or taking it, by accident.
